Description
This is a 2 year old whip Sweetheart Cherry Tree on Mazzard rood stock that has been potted this year. It needs to be pruned and planted as soon as purchased. Sweetheart Cherries are self fertile but do well with other trees in the area. This variety is a little bit later to fruit than they typical Lapin/Lambert thus making a this a very desirable tree to have. Sweethearts can be a little more tricky to grow as they seem to be more susceptible to powdery mildew and cracking however with adequate planning and preventative action, they are a wonderful variety. Sweethearts are also known for their size under adequate growing conditions.
