Description
Each year I pick up about 20 Apple trees. They are whips of a variety that grow well around Flathead Lake in Montana. They are usually a Honeycrisp cross. These trees are whips that are bare root put into a 12″ pot that should be planted and pruned as soon as purchased. Apples can take up to 5 years before they will grow fruit. I almost always get self-fertile Apple trees, but it is best to plant a few next to each other to encourage your pollinators to stay active and in your orchard. These apples are best for eating, not for pie making.
