Each year I pick up about 20 Apple trees. In 2022, I grabbed a few of these pie apple trees and continued to do so ever since. These trees are whips that are bare root put into a 12″ pot that should be planted and pruned as soon as purchased. Apples can take up to 5 years before they will grow fruit. It is best to plant a few next to each other to encourage your pollinators to stay active and in your orchard. These apples are most known as pie apples.
