Description
These trees are 2-3 year old trees come in a 12″ pot that should be planted purchased. This European plum can take up to 3 years before they will grow fruit. They are self fertile however they produce increasingly with other fruit nearby. It is best to plant a few fruit variety’s next to each other to encourage your pollinators to stay active and in your orchard during all the trees’ bloom. This plum is a deep purple to a burgundy color that has a yellow is flesh and can grow to about 2 inch in diameter that is great for fresh eating, canning and making jam. The Mount Royal Plum matures typically in late August.
