The Western Cherry Fruit Fly is a common pest in not only sweet cherries but other fruits. There are a few conventional and organic way of controlling this pest. Newer to our area is the SWD, Spotted Wing Drosophila. This pest can be a little bit more difficult to control and hard to identify because of its size.
