Pruning Fruit trees can seem intimidating, and it sill is to me. The thing about learning how to prune is there are many different types of cuts, styles of pruning and systems to prune. Now this is a huge topic. So I highly suggest doing your research. This quick post will eventually re-written. However, until then. If you’ve never pruned before, I highly suggest that you hire yourself and experienced pruner, and one that you intend to keep calling on for years to come. When switching pruning styles or pruners, it usually takes about 3 years to see the effects. It is defiantly not a process that gives instant gratification, it is a slow learning curve. The reason why I still have yet to prune myself. I always watch, learn, and ask questions when the pruners are out. There are so many things to consider all at once.
